It uses VRLA AGM technology, where the electrolyte is absorbed into glass fibres. This makes the battery completely maintenance-free and allows it to operate in any position. Maintenance-free VRLA AGM technology

The LONG WPL26-12N battery operates on the VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) principle. The electrolyte is bound in a non-woven glass fibre mat, a principle known as AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat). This bound electrolyte design prevents acid leakage and allows operation in any position. It is a hermetically sealed battery where, thanks to internal gas recombination, there is no need to top up with water. Its operation is therefore completely maintenance-free.

Long lifespan and stable performance

The battery falls into the LongLife category with an extended lifespan of 10 to 12 years when used in Standby backup mode, as defined by the Eurobat standard. With a voltage of 12V and a capacity of 26Ah, it provides a reliable power source for connected devices. The six cells inside the battery deliver stable performance. Connection is made using M5 screw terminals.
