The ironing board is equipped with a clever folding system and practical wheels, which allow for easy transport and storage. The wide ironing surface ensures comfortable ironing of every type of clothing. To achieve perfect ergonomics, the height of the Laurastar SMART 1980 ironing board can be adjusted to 6 levels.
SMART 1980 offers Sensteam and Bluetooth technology
Intelligent Sensteam technology analyses the iron's movements and automatically activates the steam output. Thanks to this smart function, you don't have to press a button to activate the steam while ironing with the SMART 1980, just move the iron and the steam will be released on its own. The Laurastar SMART 1980 uses wireless Bluetooth technology, allowing you to connect to a mobile app that acts as your coach to improve your ironing results. Three types of video tutorials will not only help you with installing the appliance and basic ironing techniques, but also provide expert advice for ironing silk, cotton or wool.
Hygienically clean laundry
The professional iron with its active 3D soleplate straightens the fabric in a single movement while applying hot steam to its entire surface, which more effectively removes creases and thoroughly refreshes the fibres. The Laurastar SMART 1980 also allows for vertical steaming for convenient ironing of dresses or curtains. The active ironing board is equipped with a unique 4-speed ventilation system that creates an air cushion, thereby levelling the ironing surface and effectively preventing the formation of creases. In addition, the vacuum system holds the garment firmly on the ironing surface, making ironing on the Laurastar SMART 1980 as comfortable and efficient as possible.
Active ironing surface
DMS technology uses 2× heated dry steam, which keeps the fabric perfectly dry during ironing. The pulse function distributes steam deep into the fabric's fibres in short intervals, where it removes up to 99.99% of dust mites, bacteria and allergens. This leaves your laundry hygienically clean and beautifully fresh. For maximum convenience, the Laurastar SMART iron is equipped with a removable 1.2L water tank that has a built-in anti-limescale filter, so you can easily use tap water. The equipment also includes a 3D soleplate for ironing delicate fabrics.
