KOBRA +1 SS4 boasts extreme performance and continuous operation
KOBRA +1 SS4 shredder is designed for maximum efficiency in demanding office environments. Its thermally protected motor is built for 24-hour continuous operation without overheating or forced duty cycles. This feature ensures you can process large document archives without delay. The machine easily handles a capacity of up to 19 sheets of paper at once and features a dedicated slot for disposing of CDs/DVDs and credit cards, ensuring comprehensive protection for your data. The DIN P-2 security level (3.8mm strip cut) is ideal for standard office information disposal.
Quiet operation and long-term reliability of the shredder
The KOBRA brand focuses on user comfort, which is reflected in the exceptionally quiet operation of this model. It features a new inverter motor that keeps noise levels below 51dB – so you only hear the crunch of the shredded material rather than distracting motor noise. In addition, the inverter motor guarantees stable performance even after many years of use, as there is no wear and tear on magnets and coils like in older DC motors. For maximum safety, the shredder features an automatic start/stop system using electronic sensors and automatic reverse in case of a jam.
KOBRA +1 SS4 is durable and easy to maintain
The heart of the machine lies in its hardened carbon steel cutting blades, which are highly durable and easily handle staples and paper clips without damage. The +1 SS4 model also features an exclusive oil-free system. Thanks to the special geometry of the blades, no lubrication or maintenance is required, as paper dust falls effectively into the bin. This saves you both time and maintenance costs. The 38.5L pull-out bin does not require the use of plastic bags.
Intelligent features and ergonomics
The efficiency of the shredder is enhanced by intelligent energy-saving features. The Energy Smart system with an illuminated optical indicator ensures the machine automatically switches to energy-saving standby mode. The pull-out waste bin offers convenient use, eliminating the need to lift a heavy cutting head. You can monitor how full the bin is through the transparent front window, and the machine stops automatically and safely when the bin is full or opened (safety stop). Thanks to its compact dimensions (H 590mm, W 390mm, D 300mm), the shredder easily fits under your desk.
