Smart Temporary Alarm Silencing with the TEST/RESET Button

The KIDDE K7DCO alarm is equipped with an advanced temporary alarm silence function that effectively solves the problem of unwanted acoustic signals. This smart feature allows you to temporarily reduce the alarm's sensitivity and turn off the siren's acoustic signal for approximately 6 minutes, which is ideal if you know the reason the alarm was triggered. Simply press the TEST/RESET button on the front cover of the detector and the device will automatically silence itself. After 6 minutes, the alarm will automatically return to its fully functional state. For safety reasons, if a high concentration of CO is detected in the monitored area, the temporary silence function cannot be activated.
