Use
Before testing: Do not eat, drink, chew gum, use tobacco or nicotine products, drink water, or rinse your mouth for at least 10 minutes before the test. Prepare the test, a timer, and a clean place to evaluate the result.
Brief procedure: Remove the test from the pouch, take off the cap, and place the absorbent part of the test in your mouth. Leave it in your mouth until the saliva can be seen moving up the test strips in the designated area. Then, remove the test and place it on a flat surface. Read the result of the test strips between 5 and 10 minutes. Evaluate the alcohol indicator within 1 minute after saliva enters the observation window. Do not read the test strip results after 10 minutes have passed.
How to Read the Test Strip Results
Negative result: The control line C appears, along with the test line T for the given substance. Even a very faint T line is considered a negative result.
Positive result: The control line C appears, but the test line T for the given substance does not. This means the test has indicatively detected the presence of the substance above the cut-off level.
Invalid result: If the control line C does not appear, the test cannot be evaluated. In this case, a new test must be used.
The alcohol indicator is evaluated by the colour change of the reaction pad. Compare the resulting colour with the colour chart on the packaging or in the instructions. The chart serves only for an indicative estimate of the relative concentration of alcohol in the saliva.
Important: A positive result or a colour change on the alcohol indicator does not indicate an exact blood alcohol level and cannot be used as an official measurement of alcohol. The result may be influenced by factors such as residual alcohol in the mouth, alcohol vapours, some disinfectants, perfumes, deodorants, cleaning agents, or products containing alcohol.

Storage
Store in a dry place at a temperature of 2–30°C. Do not use after the expiry date and do not use the test if the packaging is damaged.
