Care

To minimise the risk of staining, hand wash all parts of the mortar immediately after use. Rinse the wooden cap, but do not immerse in water. After rinsing, dry the parts with a towel and leave to dry freely. Only store the mortar when the lid is completely dry on both sides. Prevent the wood from drying out by oiling regularly. Use food-grade wood oils (paraffin oil is recommended).
