Our tips for reaching a guaranteed tie
- In UEFI, use kernel voltage settings for manual mode, its power is always more effective than offset or adaptive mode.
- In ASUSdesek LLC level 6, use the External Digi + Power Control to prevent unwanted voltage drops that could interfere with overclocking stability.
- Kaby Lake processors are very sensitive to temperatures, so use minimal-quality AiO water cooling of 240mm and a high-quality heat conductive paste. The stronger the cooling you get, the better results you get. This is related to a well-tuned airflow within your case. If the airflow is not optimal, neither the processor nor the cooler will work as it should.

Keep in mind that an imperfect combination of components may cause the guaranteed frequency to fail.
