Gold or Life is a fast-paced two-player card game in which you become captains of airships and battle for either air supremacy or the accumulation of the greatest treasure. Choose to aggressively attack your opponent's airships, or focus on collecting gold and securing your wealth.

Strategies and card effects: destroy the airships or collect gold

The aim of the game is to either destroy all of your opponent's airships or to accumulate more gold than your opponent. Players take turns performing actions such as drawing cards, playing crew cards into columns under their airships, or discarding cards, with each action triggering different effects. Crew cards have "unload" (e.g., bombing, attacking opponent's columns) and "discard" (e.g., picking a safe, maneuvering cards) effects. An important element is the interaction with the esteemed guests who are in the airships and whose fulfillment of the conditions will ensure your accumulated gold.

Two ways to win. You can win either by aggressively destroying your opponent's airships or by economically collecting the most gold. Strategic column building. Cards are played into the columns below your airships with the restriction that you may not play into the column that currently has the most cards. Dynamic card effects.
