RC model of orange car Rustler 1:10 HD RTR, is powered by DC motor Titan 550 and XL-5 controller for power supply by 2S LiPo batteries. The model goes up to 48 km/h and is factory equipped with an Extreme Heavy Duty kit for high durability and a springless body clamping system. Everything for operation is included in the package, including the transmitter, drive battery and USB-C charger. The USB-C charger can be powered by any USB adapter and connected with a USB-C cable. However, for full charging performance, the right components must be selected. The nylon chassis construction provides high strength, durability and the model is both lightweight and agile. The proven Magnum 272 transmission with adjustable friction clutch is used to drive the rear wheels. High traction is ensured by placing the engine behind the rear axle. The excellent handling characteristics are due to the precise suspension geometry and, combined with the long arm travel, you can overcome even the toughest terrain.

Design and durability
The orange Traxxas Rustler 1:10 HD RTR RC car has a factory-installed Extreme Heavy Duty suspension kit made from durable materials. The system of attaching the bodywork by means of beaks in the wheel arches allows quick and easy battery change and the clean look of the model is not disturbed by clips. Unlike traditional clip posts, the body adheres to the clipless bracket with a much larger surface area and does not crack. The chassis is made of nylon, which is filled with fiberglass for added strength and toughness, and is spatially molded for high rigidity. The engine with gearbox and differential is located at the rear of the model. The propulsion system forms a compact, closed unit, making the RC model an unpretentious model.
Drive and power
The gearbox, disc clutch and planetary differential of the orange Traxxas Rustler HD RTR RC car are enclosed in one compact unit. The friction clutch transmission reliably transfers engine power to the axles, and the Magnum 272™ planetary differential gearbox has gears made of hardened steel. The system requires absolutely minimal maintenance. Pinions and gears with different numbers of teeth are available, so you can fine-tune your model for both speed and technical tracks. The Revo Spec Torque Control friction clutch provides smooth power transfer and is adjustable. A properly adjusted slip rate protects the drivetrain while not reducing acceleration. The car is equipped with a modified Titan 550 series 12T DC motor. The engine has 30% more power than conventional 540 engines. The rotor at the rear of the engine contains a propeller that draws air into the engine and effectively cools it.
Chassis and wheels
The high lift orange RC car's oil shocks use dual X-rings for a perfect seal and perfect operation. The robust design combined with a high oil volume can absorb even hard impacts in difficult terrain. You can tune the shock absorbers to your liking by adjusting the springs and changing the oil viscosity. Alias' unique rubber compound has high grip on a wide range of surfaces including dirt, grass, concrete and rocks. The rear tyres with step-pin studs provide excellent traction on the terrain, while the front tyres with grooves keep the track perfectly. The servo box is fitted with a gasket for water resistance.
Three programmable driving modes
The waterproof electronic controller of the orange Traxxas Rustler 1:10 HD RTR XL-5 RC car offers three programmable driving modes - sport, racing and training. Sport mode allows forward, reverse, has a brake and reverse, race mode offers forward and brake, training mode is set to 50% forward and reverse power and has a brake. This way, novice drivers or children can gradually get acquainted with the features of the model and prepare for the full power of the car. Thermal protection, gold-plated connectors and incredibly low internal resistance are the strengths of this controller. Modes are easily set with a single Traxxas EZ-Set® button. The RC car has built-in two-stage protection against under-discharge of LiPo batteries. A wide range of tuning parts is also available, including complete spares.
Traxxas TQ 2.4 GHz receiver
The Traxxas TQ 2.4 GHz three-channel receiver ensures safe, interruption-free steering and is easily paired with a single button. There is a knob on the transmitter to trim the steering - to keep the model driving straight when the steering wheel is in the centre position. Reverse can also be set on the throttle and steering channel. The battery level in the transmitter is indicated by an LED.
