Types of Cards

In the game of Shrine, you will find four types of cards: apprentice, master, ritual and shrine. Apprentices are the soldiers and creatures you summon to the battlefield to attack and defend the shrines. Many of them also have special abilities. Masters represent the most powerful figures of each faction. Rituals can cause direct damage, disrupt an enemy's formation or enable strategic manoeuvres. Shrines are the focal points for channelling magical energy. Once freed from the limitations of their abilities, their power is manifested across the entire battlefield. The destruction of all enemy shrines is the condition for victory in the game. To win, you must destroy all of your opponent's shrines. Once your opponent's last shrine falls, you are immediately victorious.
