Lord of the Rings: the Card Game - Revised Edition

Key features of Lord of the Rings: card game - revised edition

Heroes against the Dark Lord

The heroes of all Middle-earth, from the sun-drenched fields of the Shire, through the twisting paths of the Dark Forest, to the mighty kingdoms of Gondor and Rohan, must unite to face the threat of the Dark Lord, Sauron. Every player of Lord of the Rings: Card Game - Revised Edition chooses 1-3 heroes representing various positive characters of Middle-earth and builds a game deck to support their abilities. You then try to work together through all parts of the chosen scenario, which is represented by cards with the plot and conditions for progression. Throughout the game you will face various challenges - you will fight enemies, explore dangerous territories and face the tricks of evil. The key element is the correct use of the resources your heroes generate and the clever use of the cards in your hand. The game offers an interesting balance between completing quests, fighting enemies and keeping your group's threat level low.
