For Creative Techniques and Colour Revival
Kreul JAVANA dye is designed for a wide range of creative methods. You can experiment with traditional tie-dye, the Japanese technique of shibori or dip dyeing. The range of working temperatures allows for dyeing from 50°C to 95°C, which is particularly suitable for wax batik. The lower temperature prevents the wax from melting unintentionally, thus preserving the precision of the pattern. You can also use the dye to revive and unify the colour of older clothing.
Colour Intensity to Your Liking
Thanks to the powder form, you can easily control the richness of the final shade. The entire 70g pack is enough to dye 400g of fabric to a medium-rich tone. If you desire a more striking result, use the same amount of dye on half the weight of fabric – this will give you an intense shade on 200g of fabric. The powder comes in a resealable bottle, which not only facilitates precise dispensing but also safe storage for future projects.
Caring for Dyed Textiles
To keep your creations colourful for as long as possible, proper care is important. Always wash dyed fabrics separately and at a maximum temperature of 40°C, as they are not boil-proof. For best results, we recommend using KREUL Fixative for Batik Dyes. This serves to increase colour fastness, ensuring the shades remain vibrant even after many washes.
Dyed fabrics are not boil-proof. Wash them separately at a maximum temperature of 40°C.
