Hegemony is a social game in which four socio-economic groups - the working class, the middle class, the capitalist class and the state - are pitted against each other in a country in chaos. In this asymmetrical card-driven game, you take on one of the classes, choose your unique strategy and try to lead your class to victory. The game, a collaboration between MINDOK and Fox in the Box, is based on a sophisticated economic model and simulates the workings of the state, its economy and politics. The Czech localization of the game also includes the Taming the Crisis expansion, which includes automated opponent packs for solo play. The economic-political game Hegemony is designed for 1-4 players aged 14 and up. One game lasts approximately 90-180 minutes. Game rules and game material are in Czech.

The working class is struggling with the consequences of a dysfunctional social system, the middle class is gradually disappearing, the capitalist class is losing its profits and the state is facing rapidly increasing debt. Each faction has its own separate goals and its game is based on different principles. Will you fight for your agenda no matter what, or will you help the state hold the system together? Although each group has its own goals, the possibilities of all are limited by state policies such as foreign trade, the labour market or taxes. Use your influence to try to change the shape of these elements when voting. Will your class achieve hegemony?
