Dixit: 10th Expansion - Mirrors

Key Features of the 10th expansion for the Dixit Mirrors card game

How to play?

Each player is dealt 6 cards. The beginning player chooses one of his cards, places it face up on the table and describes it verbally. It's up to him whether he limits himself to one word or makes up a whole story. The others add one of their cards to it. The cards on the table are shuffled and then spread face up. Now the other players use their number chips to guess which card the starting player has described. Points are then awarded based on the correctness of the tickets. The game ends with the last card in the deck.

84 cards full of humour, nostalgia and unexpected interpretations

Dixit 10 Mirrors brings new dimensions of visual storytelling and interpretation to the world of Dixit. Includes 84 new cards with original illustrations that can be used alone or shuffled into the base game. The cards can be used with the base game components for more variety, or you can use them for a standalone game of Dixit (in which case you would need to get your own scoring board and voting chips and know the rules of the game). The cards offer a fascinating mix of styles that mirror everyday life in unexpected and dreamlike ways. Illustrations include humorous scenes, retro atmosphere, exaggeration of common situations and poetic moments. Here you will find images inspired by urban life, nature, human relationships and abstract concepts. Each card is a small work of art that invites deeper exploration and interpretation, offering a new perspective on familiar things and awakening a child's joy and imagination.

Meet the illustrator

Sébastien Telleschi is a French illustrator whose style is characterised by cartoon humour and retro atmosphere, with strong references to the worlds of Robert Doisneau and Jacques Tati. Telleschi is known for his anti-depressing illustrations, which are characterized by simplicity of shapes and composition, bright colours and the lightheartedness of the characters. His world is reminiscent of the comedies of the 1960s and the era of Spirou magazine, into which one delves with pleasure and finds one's childhood emotions and laughter. Self-taught, Telleschi trained in graphic design and illustration in Paris before settling as a freelance illustrator in Nice. For the last five years he has been working almost exclusively in illustration, more and more often for advertising purposes. His unique style, which brings out the child in us, fits perfectly into the world of Dixit and brings a new dose of humour and nostalgia to the game.
