Homematic IP Tilt and vibration sensor

The Homematic IP tilt and vibration sensor can be used for monitoring position changes and for detecting vibration and motion. The sensor reliably detects any tampering and even the smallest vibrations. The states can be further processed and implemented in Homematic IP smart automation control processes. Universal position change detection works by detecting a specific angle of deviation from horizontal or vertical. The position change detection threshold can be set in increments from 10 to 45, and when it is exceeded, the corresponding action or scenario is activated. In the case of vibration detection and motion detection, the intensity and duration of even the smallest shocks are detected. The sensitivity of vibration detection is adjustable in six stages and its duration (motion detection) ranges from 0.5 to 7.5 seconds, enough to distinguish just an accidental jolt from a long-lasting manipulation.
