YATO Digital Multimeter with True RMS Clips YT-730933

The YATO True RMS digital clip-on multimeter is a universal clamp meter with automatic and manual range switching that allows you to perform basic and advanced measurements of electrical quantities. Thanks to the measuring clamps, it is possible to measure DC and AC current in the range from 10 mA to 1000 A without disconnecting the circuit or disconnecting from the power supply. The YATO True RMS multimeter allows you to measure higher currents than conventional power meters. The probe cables are silicone insulated, flexible and resistant to high temperatures.

Built-in features:
TRUE RMS - a meter with this feature displays the actual RMS value of the AC voltage or current. Unlike averaging meters, TRUE RMS meters show the correct value not only for a sine wave, but also for distorted sine waveforms, e.g. with higher harmonics or square or triangular waves. A mandatory feature wherever switching power supplies, variable frequency motor drives, HVAC installations, etc., appear in the circuit.
NCV - non-contact AC voltage detection by inductive methour The meter detects the presence of voltage in the insulated conductor and can also indicate the phase conductor.
LINE - contact AC voltage detection, works like a traditional tester. When the measuring probe is inserted into the socket opening, if a phase is present, the display shows four dots, the signal LED lights up and an intermittent beep sounds.
AUTO - automatic setting of the measuring range. When measuring unknown values using a measuring instrument with manual range adjustment, the measurements should be taken sequentially from the largest range to the most accurate. Otherwise you risk damaging the equipment. However, in the case of a multimeter with AUTO function, you only need to take one measurement and the meter will automatically find the optimal range. By default, the meter starts in AUTO mode.
