YATO Digital True RMS Multimeter, LCD YT-730893

The YATO True RMS LCD Digital Multimeter is a meter with automatic range switching for each measurement that allows you to perform basic and advanced measurements of electrical quantities. It is designed for electrical engineers, electricians and home use. The multimeter is equipped with a large multi-function LCD display and a range of functions to facilitate measurement. The advantage is the speed of operation and industrial precision. The probe cables are silicone insulated, flexible and resistant to high temperatures. The rubber housing with dedicated spaces for the measuring probes minimises the risk of damage in the event of a fall.

Built-in features:
TRUE RMS - a meter with this feature displays the actual RMS value of the AC voltage/current. Unlike averaging meters, true rms meters show the correct value not only for a sine wave, but also for distorted sine waveforms, e.g. with higher harmonics or square or triangular waves. A mandatory feature wherever switching power supplies, motor inverters, HVAC installations, etc. appear in the circuit.
NCV - non-contact AC voltage detection by inductive methour The meter detects the presence of voltage in the insulated conductor using the NCV sensor on the front of the device.
AUTO - automatic setting of the measuring range. When measuring unknown values using a measuring instrument with a manual range change knob, the measurements should be taken progressively from the largest range to the range that gives the most accurate result - otherwise there is a risk of damage to the equipment. However, in the case of a multimeter with AUTO function, you only need to take one measurement and the meter will automatically find the optimal range. By default, the meter starts in AUTO mode.
RANGE - manual change of measurement range. Useful function when checking many identical components with known values, e.g. series of resistors. Manual adjustment of the range will significantly reduce the time of such measurements.
REL - using the function during a measurement resets the display and uses the value visible before the display as the reference level. The next measurement will show the difference between the measured value and the stored reference value.
MAX/MIN - displays the maximum or minimum value of the current measurement on the display
SELECT - change the measurement mode, e.g. measurement of alternating (AC) to direct current (DC) voltage
DATA HOLD - storing the currently measured value on the display
