The Ubiquiti UniFi Access Safe, 8 mm security lock serves as an electric strike for controlled building access, connecting to UniFi Access Hub units. This lock operates in fail-safe mode. This means it automatically unlocks during a power outage to ensure free passage. It includes a built-in door position sensor (DPS) to monitor whether the door is open or closed via a dry contact. The lock is compatible with UA-Hub-Door, UA-Hub-Door-Mini, UA-Hub-Gate, EAH-8 and UA-Ultra access systems.

Construction and installation
