How to use the TESA adjustable adhesive hook
The product is easy to adjust, remove and reuse. The main advantage of the TESA adjustable adhesive hook is that it lets you attach objects without damaging the surface. This avoids unnecessary drilling, which significantly reduces noise and mess, and saves time. The product is not suitable for vinyl wallpapers and non-stick surfaces (silicone, PTFE). The TESA adhesive hook is designed for wallpaper and plaster.
Clean the surface, apply the adhesive strip and activate the Powerstrips technology
Before application, clean the surface with a duster. Unwrap the adhesive strip and apply it vertically to a clean and dry surface. Activate the Powerstrips technology. Press the strip firmly for 5 seconds to increase its adhesion and effectiveness.
Stick on the nail and ensure a perfect hold
Remove the protective film from the strip and attach the hook so that its bottom edge remains on the grey line of the strip. Now press the Tesa hook onto the surface at the top for 5 seconds. Do the same at the bottom.
Adjust the height and attach your object
Slide the red toggles to select the desired position for the nail. By sliding the toggle down, you can re-secure the nail to achieve perfect alignment for your hung items. It holds objects up to 2kg in weight. Using 2 hooks increases the load capacity to 4kg. The Tesa adhesive hook is therefore ideal for attaching items in your home.
Removing the nail
Grasp the nail head and slowly pull the adhesive strip down along the wall. This will release the adhesive and remove the nail.
