Soudal Adhesive for vapour barriers 280 ml
Soudal airtight adhesive for vapor barriers is designed for joining and sealing all materials that require a vapor-tight and airtight joint. It adheres perfectly to all substrates, including polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP). The adhesive has excellent adhesion to all types of vapor barriers and good adhesion to damp porous substrates. The vapor barrier adhesive is not intended for use on natural stone due to the risk of staining at the joint.

Workflow
Application:
Using an application gun, apply the adhesive in strips with a diameter of 3–5mm to the edge of the vapor barrier membrane. Ensure sufficient overlap between individual membranes to allow for building expansion. Lightly press the next membrane onto the surface of the applied adhesive, but do not press the joint completely. The thickness of the adhesive in the joint should be between 1 and 2mm with a minimum width of 25mm. Approximate yield: 20–40m of joints from a 280ml package. Working temperature: +5°C to +50°C.
Suitable surfaces:
All types of vapor barrier foils made of materials such as PE, PA, PP, aluminum, EPDM, PVC, SWS window foils in combination with building substrates such as plaster, brick, concrete, wood, insulation materials, etc. The substrate should be dry, clean, free of dust, grease, and loose particles. The surface does not need to be primed. It is always recommended to perform a preliminary adhesion test.Repairs with the same material.
Cleaning:
Immediately after application with white spirit or SOUDAL SWIPEX cleaning wipes.
Storage:
24 months from the date of manufacture in unopened original packaging at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C. Protect from frost.

Follow standard safety and hygiene rules, wear protective gloves.
