Variable shading thanks to rotatable slats
38 adjustable swivel double slats (two layers with hollow interior) protect you not only from the sun but also from the rain. Lamels can be rotated from 0° to achieve a completely closed roof up to 135°, giving you great mobility and the ability to shade the sun from any side. The slats can simply be operated manually using the handle. It is designed to be easily tilted to prevent scratching the pergola structure when turning the slats. At the same time, the handle is positioned on the structure so that when adding screens or panels to the pergola, it does not prevent easy handling of these accessories.
Water and snow are not a problem
Water is drained by a unique drainage system directly inside the structure. The slats are capable of draining really large amounts of water up to 17 l/m² per hour. During the winter months the slats should be left in a vertical position. Even so, the slats are capable of supporting a 30-40 cm layer of snow, which represents a load of approximately 50 kg/m². However, this load cannot be long-term. The sturdy post has dimensions of 116 × 116 mm, the installation requires a post foot of 160 × 160 mm. The foot is made of 8mm thick steel and is also covered by an aluminium cover with an integrated drainage system. The raised aluminium profile with added top rail hides the slats so that they are not visible from the side view and are flush with the profile.
Side shading can also be added
The pergola can be supplemented with a front screen. ROJAPLAST offers three-metre screens with aluminium construction and textile filling, which provide protection from the wind. The pergola can also be supplemented with shading panels with fixed or folding horizontal slats for additional privacy and shading. The panels can be used on all sides of the pergola and in the case of side anchoring, the panel frame can be drilled into the wall.
