PetSafe® Basic Electric Dog Fence

The PetSafe Basic electric fence helps keep your dog in the space you designate. It works on the principle of warning signals that alert the dog if it approaches a defined boundary. The defined area is delimited by a wire that can be buried in the ground or fixed above the ground. The transmitter then sends a low-frequency signal that is received by a special collar that acts as a receiver. If the dog approaches the boundary, the collar makes a warning sound. If it continues, a mild but unpleasant static impulse is activated, which is safe for the dog. The electric fence provides the animal with a safe space of up to 1300 m². With simple training and orientation flags erected around the entire boundary, the dog will easily learn to stay in the defined area. Training takes approximately 1-2 weeks. The collar offers 4 levels of static correction and an audio mode. By adding additional compatible collars, you can expand the system for an unlimited number of dogs. The collar uses one 6V battery and is suitable for dogs with a neck circumference of 15 to 66 cm.
