The transparent PATTEX One for All Crystal universal mounting adhesive is a unique combination of mounting adhesive and sealant in one for indoor and outdoor use. Its patented FlexTec formula guarantees high flexibility and bond strength. It doesn't drip when bonding, has sealing properties, dampens sound and vibrations, and bonds a wide range of absorbent and non-absorbent materials. It cures with moisture from the air, contains no isocyanates or solvents, and can be applied to damp surfaces. It is not suitable for materials permanently submerged in water. Bonds glass, plexiglass, bricks, ceramics, concrete, plasterboard, plywood, natural stone, MDF, wood, metal, rigid PVC, polystyrene, plastics, painted surfaces, and mirrors. Thanks to its crystal clarity, it is particularly good for bonding transparent materials—clear, sandblasted or coloured glass, glass panelling in kitchens or bathrooms, glass or transparent plastic bathroom accessories, etc. The adhesive remains permanently clear and transparent. The manufacturer does not recommend use on PE, PP, PTFE, acrylic glass, or plasticised PVC.
How to use the mounting adhesive:
The surface to be bonded must be clean, dry, and completely free of grease. When using PATTEX One for All Crystal, cut the tip of the cartridge above the screw thread, screw on the plastic nozzle, and cut it at an angle. Then insert the cartridge into the gun. Apply the adhesive to only one of the surfaces:
- In spots to smooth out uneven surfaces.
- In a wavy pattern for higher initial adhesion on wide surfaces.
- In straight lines for smaller surfaces.
- For outdoor use, apply vertical strands.
