Correct positioning of the solar absorber

Select the installation location so that the absorber receives sufficient direct sunlight. The panel should be placed in a circuit with a pump/filter or other active element to ensure sufficient water flow. The optimum orientation of the solar absorbers is south, southwest or southeast, at an inclination of about 30-45°. Solar absorbers can be installed on the roof of a house or garden building, on a simple stand according to the size of the solar absorber or on a fence (in the case of vertical installation, the solar absorber is not as effective because the effective area exposed to the sun is reduced). It is not recommended to place the solar absorber only on the lawn, in which case use an insulating pad made of extruded polystyrene, EPDM or a wooden grid (beware of splinters that can damage the cell. It is also better to use EPDM seals).

Avoiding shielding and protection during installation

It is important to avoid shadows and places with variable sunlight, e.g. around houses and trees. In the case of a parallel installation of absorbers, one absorber can shade the other. When selecting the location, the risk of wind damage to the absorbers must be taken into account. Mounting is carried out using nylon straps on the roof covering, on the stand structure or on the timber formwork, allowing placement in an elevated and sunny position. In rare cases, it is also possible to lay the solar cells on the ground without support. In this case, the cells must be secured against mechanical damage from sharp objects and against wind. The water in the solar absorber must not freeze.

Storage and maintenance:
After the pool season is over, drain the water from the absorber and piping system. Remove the end caps of the solar absorber and allow all the water to drain out. To ensure that not even a drop of water remains in the solar absorbers, which could cause damage to the absorbers, it is recommended to purge the absorbers with compressed air. It is recommended to dismantle the solar absorbers before winter and store them in a dry place protected from frost.

Connecting components are not included! It is important to avoid shadows and places with variable sunlight, e.g. around houses and trees. The water in the solar absorber must not freeze. Freezing water will cause irreversible damage to the cavity structure of the solar absorber plates.
