MARIMEX Sand filtration ProStar Profi 4 m3/h

The ProStar Profi 4 (formerly BlackStar 4) sand filtration system is inspired by nature - here, too, rainwater is transformed into crystal-clear spring water by filtration in permeable rock layers. In sand filtration, the water passes through silica sand, where even fine impurities are trapped and only clean, filtered water is returned to the pool. It is therefore important to rinse the filter sand frequently so that dirt does not settle in the sand. It is recommended to flush the filtration system at least once a week.

Composition and description of sand filtration

The ProStar Profi 4 sand filtration system consists of a filter container that can hold 18 to 20 kg of filter sand. The container is made of high quality polypropylene (PP). It is seamless, resists corrosion and commonly available chemicals used in swimming pools. The filtration is equipped with a drainage valve, pressure gauge, built-in components of the filter vessel including an easy-to-use 6-way valve (which is built into the lid of the filter vessel), a 250 W pump motor, and a plastic base for on-site installation. The system is manufactured from high quality materials in strict compliance with technical standards and undergoes output control.

As standard, the sand filtration is supplied without filter sand and hoses. The manufacturer recommends buying these components together with the sand filtration.
