The HERON 8896227 single-phase inverter generator with a high operating power of 5kW (maximum 5.5kW) is designed to power electrical appliances in places where there is no mains electricity, or it can be used as a backup power source in the event of a power outage. The machine features an economical ECO mode and intelligent technology that automatically regulates the engine's power according to the actual consumption of the connected devices, which guarantees maximum efficiency and economical operation. Thanks to the inverter technology, you can also use the HERON generator to power more sensitive electronic devices, such as computers or televisions. The generator has a compact design with a folding handle and two wheels, which make it easy to move from place to place. You will also appreciate the remote control, which allows you to switch on the generator from up to 100 metres away, and the electric start system with its own rechargeable Li-ion battery. The front panel of the generator has two 230V sockets (32A + 16A), an ATS connector and a 12V DC socket for charging car batteries and 12V appliances. Cables for charging 12V car batteries are included in the package.

Thanks to its low weight (less than 40kg), small dimensions, low consumption and very quiet operation, the HERON 8896227 digital generator is an ideal mobile power source for trips, at the cottage, or on holiday or for recreation (caravans, boats, campsites). Handling the generator is made easy by the folding handle and built-in wheels, which allow you to transport it like a travel suitcase. On the top of the generator, there is a classic transport handle, which allows for comfortable carrying by hand.
Economical Operation with High-Quality Output Voltage
Thanks to the inverter system, which ensures a "smoothed" sinusoid, the HERON generator provides high-quality output voltage without major fluctuations, so you can use it without worry to power sensitive electronics such as computer equipment, televisions, etc. The intelligent speed control technology automatically adjusts the generator's power to the current power consumption, so the generator's operation is up to 40% more economical than conventional models. There is also an ECO mode (can be switched off), which reduces the idling speed and thus the machine's petrol consumption and noise level. The 11-litre fuel tank allows up to five hours of continuous operation (depending on the load).
Front Panel with Display and a Range of Connectors
The HERON 8896227 petrol generator is equipped with a digital counter for total operating hours from the first start, operating hours since the last start, current voltage and frequency, with the measured values displayed on a clear screen. On the front panel, you will find two 230V sockets with 16A (maximum consumption 3.5kW) and 32A (consumption over 3.5kW) and a 12V socket, which is used for charging car batteries or 12V appliances, such as compressors, car fridges, etc. There is also an ATS output and a connector for connecting the 8898145 charger (not included), which is used to charge the 12V Li-ion battery of the electric starter. The front panel also features a reset button, LED indicators and a connector for linking two identical generators together.
The HERON 8896227 Offers High Performance in a Compact Body
Thanks to its inverter technology, the HERON 8896227 generator delivers comparable performance to frame-type AVR generators, but in a much quieter, lighter and more compact design. The generator is also fully ready for use in ATS mode (as a backup power supply)—just connect it to the HERON 8898147 ATS module (not included), which ensures the generator starts automatically in the event of a mains power failure. Using a special cable, you can also connect two identical HERON generators together to get a total operating power of 9kW (maximum 9.6kW). The connecting cable is not included.
