The powerful vertical wood splitter Güde Ghs 500/8 Tb is designed for fast and convenient splitting of cut firewood. Thanks to a powerful 4-stroke petrol engine and a hydraulic pump that develops a splitting pressure of up to 8 tonnes, the machine can easily handle logs up to 35 cm in diameter. The splitter has a sturdy steel frame with adhesive arms and safe (two-handed) control levers with protective covers. The splitting blade stroke can be adjusted exactly to the actual length of the logs, and the machine is equipped with a hanging work table (310 × 300 mm) and two storage areas to facilitate work. The Ghs 500/8 Tb has a sturdy base with a pull handle and transport wheels that make it easy to transport the machine.

The machine is powered by a 4-stroke POWER-ENGINE 4.7 kW petrol engine, which complies with the EURO 5 emission standard. With a maximum splitting speed of 4 cm per second, you'll have firewood ready for your fireplace or boiler in no time.. The GHS range of chippers meets the stringent safety requirements for agricultural (forestry) machinery according to the technical standard DIN EN 609-1:2017.
