Composition and correct use
The substrate is a mixture of coconut fibre, horticultural compost, perlite and vermiculite. This combination creates a light and airy structure that supports the root system while retaining moisture. For successful growing, it is important to choose the right amount – for example, a 12cm diameter pot requires approximately 0.8 litres. A larger, 20cm pot will hold 3 to 3.5 litres of the mix. We recommend you start fertilising 6 to 8 weeks after repotting.
