GARDNERS Japanese Ketotsuchi clay, 3 l

Japanese Ketotsuchi clay, abbreviated as "Keto", is a black, sticky, very malleable clay, and because of these properties it is a suitable admixture for making hanging kokedams or for planting bonsai. It has the consistency of plasticine and due to its high content of humus and other substances, there is no need to add fertiliser to kokedams. When making kokedama, the clay is mixed with other ingredients such as zeolite, akadama, pumice and substrate according to the requirements of the plant that will "live" in the kokedama. In addition to the production of kokedams, this clay is also used in the creation of saikei landscapes or gardens and in the planting of grass (plant) bonsai -kusamono and shitakusa or companion plants for bonsai, which are grown in a separate bowl and harmoniously complement the bonsai.
