FISKARS Universal Light Axe XS - X13

The Fiskars X13 camping axe from the X-series is a versatile tool for splitting smaller logs and preparing firewood. With its ultralight construction and a total weight of just 513g, it is perfect for trips where every gram counts. The shaft, made from FiberComp™ composite material, is highly durable yet extremely light. An ergonomically curved end of the handle with a SoftGrip™ non-slip surface prevents the axe from slipping out of your hand and ensures a secure grip.

Light and strong construction

The X13 axe is designed with a focus on low weight and high durability. A key feature is the shaft made of FiberComp™ material, which is extremely strong. The handle features a curved end and a SoftGrip™ non-slip surface. You will also find a hanging hole at the end of the shaft.

Efficient blade for easy splitting

The core of the axe is its double-hardened forged steel blade. The improved geometry with a wider edge and splitting wedge efficiently separates wood fibres to make your work easier. A special coating covers the blade surface to reduce friction when penetrating wood. This helps the blade slide better while protecting it against corrosion.

Safety and a practical sheath

For maximum safety during use, the axe head is inseparably connected to the shaft. The package includes a protective sheath with a belt loop to protect the blade during transport and storage. The sheath features a locking mechanism. Additionally, the sheath design allows you to use the axe to drive in tent pegs, for example, without having to remove the sheath.
