The surface is treated with teak oil.

Maintenance of the deckchair
Because.., that teak is resistant to rain, of snow, of frost, UV radiation or mould, there is no need to take special care of the furniture. Normal dirt can be washed off with soapy water and a brush. If the furniture is exposed to the weather, it will change its colour to silver-grey over time, which has no effect on the quality of the material. In case we want to preserve the brown-honey colour, the surface of the furniture should be treated with teak oil.
