Japanese carpentry saw EXTOL PREMIUM 8812251 is a double-edged saw designed for precise and clean cutting of various types of wood, plastics (e.g. PVC and ABS pipes) and similar materials. The saw has a thin steel blade and fine teeth, resulting in a clean cut. The teeth of both blades are hardened, the finer blade is made up of triple-ground teeth at 15 teeth per inch and the coarser blade is made up of double-ground teeth at 8 teeth per inch. Compared to conventional saws, the double-edged saw blade pulls towards you so that the slice does not bend during cutting, even if it is thinner. Less force is required to cut with a double-edged saw.
