Elpumps NEPTUN

The new Elpumps NEPTUN submersible sludge pump is designed for pumping both clean and heavily contaminated fluids, sewage, and water from septic tanks, cellars and shafts. Unlike some other sludge pumps, solid particles up to 45mm diameter can be handled with ease.

The pump's powerful engine is contained within a stainless steel housing and a hydraulic alloy chamber offers a pumping capacity of up to 15,000 litres/hour. It is constructed of highly durable materials that can handle aggressive, rough environments.

The impeller is made of durable cast iron, which means that the pump is not only reliable but will have a long life. The pump is liquid-cooled, so be careful not to run dry.

However, the designers have thought of this, and they've fitted the motor with a thermal fuse as an extra form of protection. The float sensor automatically switches the pump on and off according to the fluid level. The power cable is 10 metres long and the headroom is 9 metres.
