Den Braven Self-Adhesive Draught Excluder for windows and doors - white, 20m × 9mm

Den Braven self-adhesive sealing tape is used to effectively seal gaps in windows and doors, preventing draughts and heat loss. It is made from soft polyethylene (PE) foam with a single-sided coating of high-adhesion synthetic rubber-based adhesive. The tape is supplied without a backing liner, which significantly simplifies and speeds up application as there is no need to peel off a protective strip. This makes the job cleaner and eliminates unnecessary waste.

Durable material for long-term insulation

The base of the tape is made of polyethylene foam with a closed-cell structure. This composition ensures extremely low water absorption, reaching less than 1% of its total volume after seven days, thus preventing mould growth. The material is characterised by high mechanical resistance and elasticity. The tape has a high tensile strength of 400kPa and a compressive strength of 100kPa at 50% compression, so it retains its shape and functionality even under long-term pressure in frames. It resists moisture, dust and natural ageing.

Application without unnecessary waste

The tape was designed with the fastest and easiest possible use in mind. As it comes without a backing strip, it is ready for immediate application straight from the roll. This means there is no need to peel off a protective film, saving time and creating no extra waste. The single-sided coating of synthetic rubber adhesive (hot-melt) guarantees immediate and strong adhesion to clean and degreased surfaces such as wood, plastic or metal.

Universal sealing for the home and workshop

Although the tape is primarily intended for windows and doors, its uses are much broader. Thanks to its insulating properties and durability, it is also suitable for sealing industrial and domestic hatches, inspection doors and various technical covers. It reliably protects interior spaces not only from draughts and cold, but also from the ingress of dust and moisture. The tape easily conforms to uneven surfaces and provides reliable sealing both at home and in the workshop.
