Den Braven S2802A Primer is a high-quality primer suitable for home and construction use. The low-viscosity liquid ensures a penetrating effect. A one-component, low-viscosity liquid based on an aqueous dispersion of the SOKRAT styrene-acrylate copolymer, which forms a transparent, water-insoluble polymer film after curing. It reduces and unifies the absorbency of the substrate and increases the adhesion of subsequent layers. It is used for priming coats under core and final plasters, facade and interior paints and to increase the adhesion of construction adhesives, self-levelling compounds, etc. After curing, the primer is insoluble in water.

Properties and Use of the Primer

Den Braven S2802A primer is insoluble in water after curing and serves as a penetrating agent that increases adhesion to the substrate (so-called anchoring) and provides flexibility. It also has an impregnating effect, thereby increasing the substrate's resistance to weathering, including UV radiation. It is used as a priming and anchoring coat under facade paints, on new brickwork walls and other mineral substrates before applying plaster, on new and old plasters (lime, gypsum, stucco, etc.) and on plasterboard before painting. It is also suitable for priming anhydrite substrates.
