Sand filtration is at the heart of every pool, ensuring that the pool water is of high quality and beautifully clean. The SFA 9 is designed for pools with a volume of up to 45 m³. The filter container is made of high quality polypropylene, holds 75 kg of filter sand and resists corrosion and common pool chemicals. Filter has a powerful 550 W pump and is equipped with a coarse dirt pre-filter to catch all larger dirt. The filter vessel includes a practical drain valve. The filtration head is equipped with a 6-way valve, the filtration body is mounted on a stable base. Thanks to the powerful pump, the filtration is suitable for users who need to connect pool accessories (e.g. solar heating, vacuum cleaner) to the filtration circuit. The filtration is designed for outdoor use and is weatherproof.

Natural power for crystal clear water in your pool

The filter medium of the Planet Pool SFA 9 is silica sand, which is stored in the filter container. A characteristic of silica sand is that it is sharp-edged. Its grains have sharper cut edges than other types of sand, so it traps significantly more dirt. The pool water passes through the sand in the filter container, even the smallest impurities are trapped in the sand and crystal clear water returns to the pool. It is basically the same principle as how water is filtered in nature. To ensure high quality filtration, it is recommended to rinse the sand twice a month.
