Ceys Synthetic Metal Defect Repair special adhesive is designed especially for bonding metals. This two-component adhesive is resistant to acids, cleaning powders, minerals and temperatures from -50°C to +150°C. You can use it on iron, brass, aluminium, steel, bronze and alloys. With this Ceys adhesive, you can easily glue or fill metal surfaces and seal liquid leaks, for example. You will also appreciate its high adhesion, strength and the ability to be polished, sanded or painted. After drying, it has a metallic appearance, combines the properties of metal and plastic and can be further sanded, drilled and processed like metal.

Use:
Synthetic Metal consists of a metal powder (plastic container) and a resin (metal tube). The consistency of the mixture may vary depending on how the product will be used.
1. CLEAN AND THOROUGHLY DRY THE SURFACES TO BE TREATED. For renovations and on very glossy surfaces, it is advisable to sand the substrate before application.
2. Mix the desired ratio of powder and resin in the plastic container until a perfectly homogeneous mixture is formed. The user must decide, based on the intended use, whether they need a liquid mixture (for protection or casting) or a thicker mixture (for filling, bonding, etc.).
In any case, it is important to achieve a homogeneous mixture. The pot life of the mixture will depend on the ratio used and the ambient temperature. At higher temperatures, the pot life and hardening time are reduced.
3. Apply the Synthetic Metal in individual layers to the surface to be treated using a spatula and allow it to dry for a few minutes. The hardening time will depend on the consistency of the mixture: the thicker it is, the faster it will dry.
4. Once hardened, it can be sanded, drilled, polished and painted.
5. CLEAN tools and product residue with a universal thinner.
For painting:
The Synthetic Metal can be painted on the surface, and it is sufficient to sand the hardened surface before painting with liquid paints.
