The Bosch SDS plus-5 drill bit is designed for drilling into masonry, concrete and stone. It uses the SDS plus chuck system, which is compatible with standard hammer drills. The Activeteq centring tip ensures precise drilling starts without slipping. AWB brazing and hardening technology takes care of reducing vibrations. A visual wear indicator helps you check whether the diameter of the drilled hole still meets the requirements.

Precise drilling starts and hole control

The drill bit is fitted with an Activeteq centring tip, which actively guides the tool into the material and prevents it from slipping when you start drilling. This ensures the hole is positioned accurately right from the start. To maintain this precision, there's a visual wear indicator. The mark on the drill bit shows whether the hole diameter is still within the tolerance required for correctly installing wall plugs, for example. Its quality and precision are confirmed by the quality test mark from the PGM Masonry Drill Bit Association Board.

Durability and reduced vibration

AWB brazing and hardening technology reduces vibrations during use. The optimised process bonds the steel body to the carbide tip, which lowers vibrations while you work. The spiral flute design efficiently removes drilled material from the hole. The SDS Plus chuck system supports effective power transfer from the tool to the drill bit, contributing to fast progress in hard materials.
