Austis Fortekryl Wood preservative 5 kg, transparent
FORTEKRYL wood primer penetrates wood very well, increases the adhesion of subsequent coats, prevents blue stain and protects it from wood-destroying insects and fungi. It is used for priming wooden windows, fences and other joinery products. FORTEKRYL wood primer is a liquid wood preservative. It comes in a colourless and tinted version (suitable for use under glazes and clear varnishes to adjust the colour of the varnished wood).

Application:
Apply FORTEKRYL wood primer by brush or dipping in 1–2 coats, depending on the absorbency of the substrate. The surface must be dry and clean, free of resinous spots, grease stains and loose layers. Wash out any resin with a nitro thinner. The temperature of the substrate and surroundings must not fall below 8°C. Subsequent coats, such as FORTEKRYL KLASIK glaze or FORTEKRYL PREMIUM glaze, can only be applied after the primer has dried, i.e., after 8–20 hours at a temperature of 20–25°C. The recommended application rate is 150±20g/m².
