ETERNAL IN silver is an antibacterial paint containing colloidal silver, which creates hygienic coatings with long-term resistance to bacterial attack. The coatings have the highest possible wet scrub resistance and do not release any harmful substances. They are also free from unpleasant odours.

ETERNAL IN silver is used for painting interior walls and ceilings where high standards of hygiene and coating durability are required (children's rooms, schools, nurseries, crèches, healthcare facilities, or food production plants). It is suitable for damp and poorly ventilated areas where bacteria are common (kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, utility rooms, changing rooms). It is primarily intended for lime, lime-cement, and gypsum plasters, acrylic plasters, concrete, dispersion and silicate coatings, plasterboard, fibre-gypsum, fibre-cement, and cement-bonded boards, as well as other absorbent surfaces.

Application

Apply ETERNAL IN silver to a mature, dry, sound, thoroughly cleaned, and degreased surface using a brush, painter's brush, roller, or spray at a surface and ambient temperature between 5–25°C. Surfaces affected by mould must be cleaned of mould (while wet!) and treated with a suitable removal agent (e.g. ETERNAL mould remover). If the mould infestation is caused by moisture condensation (in corners, lintels, ceilings), it is advisable to treat these areas with ETERNAL IN Thermo. Highly absorbent surfaces should be primed with ETERNAL universal primer or with ETERNAL IN silver paint diluted with water in a 3:1 ratio. Any stains on the substrate that bleed through the paint should be coated with ETERNAL IN stop isolating paint. Apply ETERNAL IN silver at least 4 hours after applying the primer coat. The second coat can be applied after the first coat has dried, but no sooner than 2 hours later.
