Description of ingredients
Canadian cranberry (Oxycoccus macrocarpus) is a valuable source of natural substances that have a proven diuretic and anti-inflammatory effect. Regular consumption of fresh Canadian cranberries and cranberry juice has been linked to a reduced risk of recurrent urinary tract infections.
D-mannose is most commonly used for urinary tract and bladder inflammation and is a natural alternative to antibiotics.
In most cases, inflammation is caused by E. coli bacteria. D-mannose prevents the bacterium from attaching to the mucosal wall by coating its attachment filaments (fimbriae). The unattached bacterium cannot begin to multiply and is then excreted in the urine before it can cause inflammation.
Recommended dosage and use
Take the GS Cranberry Acute + Mannose food supplement for acute urinary tract discomfort and if you want to maintain your urinary tract in good condition long-term. In case of acute discomfort, ensure you increase your fluid intake. 1 tablet per day.
