The Grandstream GWN7660eLR outdoor access point is designed to provide stable and fast wireless coverage in harsh outdoor environments. Thanks to its robust IP67-certified design, the device is fully protected against dust and water ingress and can withstand a wide range of temperatures. This makes it a solution for open spaces, campuses or industrial areas. The model uses the modern Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard and is specifically optimized for long-range deployments, i.e. for long-distance signal distribution.

Transmission technologies and performance
The device operates in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. It integrates advanced MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies to ensure efficient traffic management for multiple users simultaneously without unnecessary delays. This architecture significantly increases network capacity and allows stable connection of hundreds of client devices even under high load. Signal quality is further enhanced by Beamforming technology, which actively shapes the transmit beam directly to the client, maximizing range and environmental permeability.
Connectivity and network management
Integration into the network infrastructure is facilitated by support for power over Ethernet (PoE), eliminating the need for separate electrical outlets at the installation site. For management and configuration, the access point offers flexible options, including a built-in controller for managing other access points on the network. Alternatively, the cloud platform GWN can be used. Cloud or on-premise GWN Manager solution. These tools provide centralized monitoring and advanced network security options, including data encryption and protection against unauthorized access.
