In addition, the rubberized surface helps keep the camera in the desired position. It is made of durable aluminium, waterproof and specially designed to block sand. The legs also close completely so you can use the tripod as a small grip. You can attach a compatible 1/4-20 extension rod to set up shots with 360-degree camera rods.
