GoPro MISSION 1 PRO ILS
8K compact cinema camera body for professionals who demand advanced optics and full control
The MISSION 1 PRO ILS is a specialised version that works with interchangeable Micro 4/3 (MFT) format lenses. Its robust, weatherproof, and compact design still delivers the typical versatility of GoPro cameras—including award-winning in-camera HyperSmooth video stabilisation. It supports over 300 lenses on the market, enabling shots and effects never before seen on a GoPro.
*NOTE: This version includes the camera body only, a lens must be purchased separately.
GoPro's flagship camera offers a new, cutting-edge 50MP 1" sensor and incredible low-light performance. It also allows for 8K60 / 4K240 / 1080p960 16:9 video recording, 8K30 and 4K120 Open Gate 4:3 video recording, and 50MP RAW photo capture. This is all powered by the new, exceptionally energy-efficient GP3 processor, which delivers superior image quality, battery life, and thermal performance for critical reliability in extreme use cases. Up to 5 hours of battery life.
“I feel like this is going to be big—a compact cinema camera that allows you to move fast, mount it anywhere, and put real professional optics on it. GoPro has created something entirely new here.”
— @SteptStudios
Compact
Half the size of comparable cinema rigs and ready for any job, anywhere. Just pack it, carry it, mount it.
Easy to Mount
The GoPro mounting ecosystem gets a cinema-quality camera into rigs and places that any other, even slightly larger camera, couldn't fit.
Durable
It handles the weather and is built with GoPro's renowned toughness. It's ready to go where traditional cinema cameras wouldn't dare.
Built for any challenge
Micro 4/3 (MFT) lenses
The perfect lens to turn your vision into reality
The ability to choose the ideal lens for any situation. From macro details to telephoto zooms and wide-angle cinematic shots – now the camera adapts to your vision, not your vision to the camera.
Professional focus + cinematic depth
By using shallow depth of field, smooth focus transitions, and selective focus for visuals, your shots will draw the viewer in, guide their attention, and tell the story with cinematic charm. Different lenses allow you to achieve dramatic rack focus, creamy bokeh, or other creative effects that bring scenes to life.
Compact and affordable
MFT format lenses are smaller, lighter, and more affordable than full-frame sensor variants. This makes it easy to pack a complete kit with you to any location.
Easier to build professional camera rigs
The compact size and lightweight design of the MISSION 1 PRO ILS fundamentally change the game for complex shots. These minimal dimensions allow you to mount the camera with a lens attached even in tight spaces, such as inside a car, using only simple magic arms and smaller mounting accessories. This makes getting professional cinematic shots from unique perspectives easier than ever.

Key Features of the new GoPro MISSION 1 PRO ILS Cinema Camera
Cutting-Edge 1" Sensor
The new 1" sensor delivers professional-level image quality and low-light performance. It uses advanced Dual Gain Readout technology*, which samples each pixel with multiple conversion gains. This allows for simultaneous processing of details in both shadows and highlights. Unlike traditional multi-frame HDR, this sensor-level approach captures an extended dynamic range in a single exposure, eliminating ghosting and temporal artefacts. It also reduces power consumption. The result is unparalleled clarity and balance, even with fast movements or in challenging lighting conditions.
*Dual Gain Readout is available in all 4K 16:9 and 4:3 modes at 60 FPS and below.
GP3 Processor
The main engine of the new generation of GoPro cameras
With an ultra-energy-efficient 5nm design, the new GP3 processor helps deliver longer battery life and the most reliable thermal performance for extreme use of any GoPro camera. It also enables best-in-class resolution, frame rate and image quality, including 10-bit video at 8K30. And the artificial intelligence Neural Processing Unit (NPU) enables brand-new video pixel processing and stunning low-light image capture.
Excellent Low-Light Performance
The combination of a larger sensor and a new processor delivers natural, cinematic video with authentic detail and minimal noise in low light and at night. It's closer to what your eye sees, but without the overly processed look.
8K30 + 4K120 Open Gate
Open Gate captures a taller 4:3 frame in 8K30, resulting in 33% more resolution than the competition, and in 4K120. This gives creators much more flexibility when editing, reformatting and presenting content in different formats.
Superior Uptime + Thermal Performance
Thanks to the GP3 processor, advanced hardware optimisation and the higher capacity, fast-charging Enduro 2 battery, you'll get the longest continuous runtime and most reliable thermal performance of any GoPro camera. It's also backwards compatible with HERO13 Black⁴ batteries.
