The new AMD Radeon graphics lineup features the lower RX 550 model. The graphics are based on the new Polaris 12 chip with 14nm manufacturing technology. It is extremely economical but at the same time it can produce solid performance for less demanding games. The core clocks up to 1,183 MHz (Boost up to 1,195 MHz).
Radeon RX 550 has 512 stream processors and the executive core augmented 2GB memory GDDR5 with the frequency 7000MHz. The support of AMD FreeSync provides a smooth video and AMD Eyefinity to extend the desktop to multiple monitors. The DisplayPort 1.4 can connect a display with a resolution of up to 8K (7680 x 4320 px).
The GB card has primarily a custom designed cooler. A large 90mm fan with a 3D function ensures efficient heat dissipation and thus higher performance. One big advantage is that if the card is not under a heavy load, the fan does not run, and you can enjoy absolute peace. If the load is high, then the fan operates to avoid overheating.
The card is an intuitive debugger with AORUS Graphic Engine that helps you easily adjust the performance and features of your card. It is possible, for example, to set the fan speed for your desired core frequency or voltage. The program monitors the status of the card and allows performance tuning in real time.
