Digital power and advanced cooling
The power system is built on a digital 5+2+2 phase VRM solution with 60A DrMOS components. Five VCORE phases provide stable power to the processor core during overclocking, two SOC phases optimise integrated graphics performance and memory management, while two MISC phases supply a reliable current for the PCIe lanes connected directly to the processor. The board uses a 2X Copper PCB with inductors and capacitors which, combined with the UD Power Connector design, improves conductivity and heat dissipation. The massive VRM heatsinks, with a four-times larger cooling surface area and a thermal pad with 5W/mK conductivity, can reduce temperatures by up to 7°C. The M.2 Thermal Guard covers one M.2 slot and ensures efficient heat dissipation even for high-speed SSDs. The Smart Fan 6 system allows for detailed fan settings, including support for AIO liquid coolers directly in the BIOS.
Memory and overclocking potential
The board offers two slots for DDR5 memory in a dual-channel configuration, with support for AMD EXPO™ profiles and overclocking up to 7600MT/s. D5 Bionic Corsa technology uses AI optimisation to boost memory performance and ensures high compatibility with various modules verified on the QVL list. The HyperTune BIOS is an advanced AI optimisation technology that automatically fine-tunes parameters to achieve the ideal balance of performance and stability.
Expansion slots and storage
There are two full-size PCIe slots available – one PCIe 4.0 x16 with PCIe UD Slot technology, which provides ten times the mechanical strength and better heat dissipation, and one PCIe 3.0 x4 slot. For storage, there are two M.2 slots (one PCIe 4.0 and one PCIe 3.0) and four SATA III connectors. The innovative EZ-Latch design on both the PCIe and M.2 slots allows for easy, screwless installation and removal of components. Networking options include a 2.5Gb LAN port for a stable, high-throughput wired connection and integrated Wi-Fi 6 for low-latency wireless connectivity.
