Powerful power delivery and processor support
A digital 8+2+2 phase power system is the key to stable operation. For the crucial VCORE and SOC rails, it uses 60A DrMOS, delivering ample power to even the most powerful AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series processors in the AM5 socket. Efficient heat dissipation from the power delivery system is handled by massive VRM heatsinks, which maintain low operating temperatures even under prolonged load. The cooling system is complemented by Smart Fan 6 technology for comprehensive fan control.
Memory and performance features
The RAM uses four DIMM slots supporting DDR5 modules with a total capacity of up to 256GB. The board fully supports both AMD EXPO and Intel XMP profiles, which simplifies achieving high frequencies. When overclocking, you can reach speeds of up to 8200MT/s, which minimises latency and increases throughput. Gaming performance is further enhanced by the special X3D Turbo Mode function, optimised for processors with 3D V-Cache, and AI Overclocking for automatic performance tuning.
Card slots and storage
The primary PCIe 4.0 x16 slot is intended for a graphics card and is connected directly to the CPU. You can install other expansion cards into one PCIe 3.0 x4 slot and two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots. Fast NVMe SSDs use a total of three M.2 slots. Two of them support the PCIe 4.0 standard, while the third supports PCIe 3.0. You can connect classic hard drives and SSDs to the four available SATA III ports. The board supports RAID 0, 1, 10 for SATA and RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 for NVMe.
Connectivity and mounting features
The board offers fast network connectivity via a 2.5GbE LAN port and a Wi-Fi 6E wireless module with Bluetooth 5.3 support. The connector set includes USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, USB 3.2 Gen 1 and USB 2.0 ports on the rear panel, as well as internal headers for front-panel case connections. You can connect monitors without a dedicated graphics card using the HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 outputs. Assembly is made easier by features like M.2 EZ-Latch and PCIe EZ-Latch for simple component installation, and Q-Flash Plus for updating the BIOS without a CPU installed.
