Compact Design and Ease of Use
The Genius SoundBar 100 features an ultra-compact design that saves desk space while looking elegant. Thanks to its USB power supply, no external adaptor or batteries are needed. Simply connect the USB cable for power and the 3.5mm jack for audio, and the device is instantly ready to go. The in-line volume control then allows you to quickly adjust the sound without having to reach for the source device.
Sound and Compatibility
Despite its lower power output, the soundbar offers clear and balanced sound without significant distortion at higher volumes. It is suitable for watching films, videos and listening to music in small to medium-sized rooms. Thanks to its universal 3.5mm input, it can be connected to a wide range of devices, including televisions, computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones. The Genius SoundBar 100 is therefore a practical solution for improving your audio without any complex installation requirements.
System Type
A soundbar can be either active or passive. Active systems have their own amplifier, so you don't have to worry about anything else. In contrast, passive speakers need an external amplifier to function, which then sends the sound to the individual speakers.
Number of Channels
The number of channels a soundbar has is undoubtedly a key parameter on the path to a quality listening experience. This property relates to the number of independent audio signals that can be reproduced simultaneously. An example is two-channel stereo sound, where each channel represents one ear. A classic TV soundbar is installed under the television screen and broadcasts sound only from the front, but using more complex techniques you can simulate multi-channel (4/5/7.1) speaker sets to create surround sound. If the device includes real rear speakers, the spatial localisation is almost always more faithful and accurate.Specifications
