The Garmin Instinct 2 smartwatch features a built-in GPS, GLONASS and GALILEO compatible satellite receiver to give you accurate information about your current location. If you often venture into the field, you'll appreciate the ABC sensors (Altimeter, Barometer and Compass) to help you navigate. These sensors can be calibrated automatically, or you can go for manual calibration. With the navigation function, you can have your route to your destination automatically calculated or plan your own route on your computer or mobile phone. Of course, notifications for incoming emails or other notifications from apps that are installed on your paired smartphone are also available. If you have an Android phone, you can enjoy fast text or voice replies to messages. The Garmin Instinct 2 also offers a smart safety and tracking feature where you can manually share your current location with your contacts when paired with your phone, or automatically send your location during select outdoor activities using the pre-set accident detection.

The watch comes pre-loaded with more than 25 sports profiles, features and settings for different sports. For example, you can look forward to a run, cycling, swimming, skiing, weight training, indoor climbing, golf, yoga and more.

• HIIT workouts - Garmin watches have a sports profile with the ability to record HITT, AMRAP, EMOM, Tabata and custom workouts. Set your desired number of sets, intervals for exercise and rest and much more.
• Measuring VO2 Max - this value is an indicator of expected performance. The watch can measure VO2 MAX. VO2Max is an indicator of predicted performance. Determining the VO2 Max value also takes into account any fluctuations in performance caused by hot weather or altitude.

• Regeneration Assistant - after any workout, you will always see how long you need to rest before you can start another challenging workout. This feature can take into account the intensity of your workout, your stress level, your daily exercise level and the quality and length of your sleep.
• Mountain biking - Want to know the details of your mountain bike ride? The Garmin Instinct 2 Graphite can measure the Grit and Flow of your ride, including the number of jumps, their length and a host of other stats.
