Create your Alters
In order to survive, Jan must create a crew, an unconventional one, but the only one possible. Using a substance called Rapidium, it creates alternative versions of itself, called. ALTERS. Each of them is a reflection of decisions that John could have made differently in the past.

The Alters PS5 offers an unusual take on the theme of identity and inner struggle. Each ALTER has a different personality, skills and motivations. Together, they form a team to help you not only survive, but also face the mental and physical challenges of space isolation.

The Alters PS5 is a story-driven sci-fi survival game that presents you with a series of moral dilemmas and emotionally challenging decisions. Using the quantum computer aboard the mobile base, you can simulate various scenarios from Jan's past. In doing so, you will discover new versions of yourself, each with a different character, talent and attitude. These differences create a tense but fascinating dynamic within the crew. Some Alters will help you survive, others can be a source of conflict. The key to success is to strike a balance between personal relationships, psychological well-being and the need for the team to function effectively.

Protect yourself and your Alters
Your base is the heart of the mission, but you need resources to run it. As you explore the planet's surface, you will search for metals, organic materials and other essential resources. But any expedition outside the base means exposure to deadly anomalies and intense solar radiation. So the daily cycle is not just a cosmetic element, you need to plan your activities with the safety of you and your Alters in mind. Risk is profit, but often the cost of bad timing can be fatal.
